As a place to rest and find peace of mind it is not, as the structure seems not well insulated and all the floors squick and are very noise.
You will not be able to sleep-in if its occupied by many, or if your room is in the lower floors.
Quaint little inn - clean and nice.
They have an indoor pool, really clean rooms,the staff was very friendly and the rooms are beautiful. If you want to see the area ahead of time check their site for a live cam of the harbor. There are plenty of shops a few feet away where you can get a bite to eat,look at nicnacs,catch a movie,get ice cream, and grab a coffee. Egypt Beach is a smooth stone Beach with sand at the edge of low tide. Recommend TKO malleys and their cod Ruben if you stop by.
We went to the Inn at Scituate Harbor on a Saturday afternoon for a birthday party. We had the entire pool to ourselves for the gathering which was more relaxing for the kids. They could just be themselves without judgement and embarassment. The pool was amazing. Small and contained. The water was heated which the kids loved. The air in the pool area is very hot but I understand it needs to be for the swimmers and the heat from the pool. In a bathing suit it is perfect though. I would definitely go there again and recommend the Inn to others. We set my grandparents up with a surprise night stay there in the past as well and they loved the accomodations. Overall a great, clean, friendly, quiet place to stay and have events.
The staff are friendly and courteous and tried to help, but the way the structure is build has given to age and noise is inascapable.

Much of peoples conversations can be heard as well as their movements through the walls and floors. Not a quiet place, unless their just a handful occupying the rooms and you have no one above your floor.
You are likely to be awaken as early as three, four, or five in the morning by the sounds of guests coming in or going out.
